HONG KONG - Day 1 - 19 Nov - Sunday
After much anticipation, we flew to Hong Kong via SQ last Sunday night at 1900hrs. Thankfully, my sister did not create any fuss at all (= no cry, no tantrums, no jet lag, no ear discomfort) and in fact, she did not even need to use the bassinet.

We arrived in Hong Kong airport at 1030hrs and took a airport train to Hong Kong station. My papa bought the Octopus card for tourist (like our EZ link card in Singapore). We then took a taxi to my papa's friends' (aunty Annie, Singaporean and uncle Richard, a New Zealander) house in Wan Chai district (7 mins away). By the time we reached the apartment, it was just after midnight. My sister fell asleep just as the tax was arriving at the apartment.

Wow, the apartment is big and our room is spacious - I immediately noticed that there are many interesting toys. These belong to the little prince of the house, James, who is 2 years old. He is looked after in the day by a domestic helper, Thelma, from the Philippines.

As it was late, we unpacked quickly and slept comfortably. I have already a very good feeling that I will like this Hong Kong trip. Sweet dreams.

P.S. By the way, how is cousin Rui Qi doing after her operation?
