HONG KONG - Day 2 - 20 Nov - Monday
We woke up after 9 and had bread and peanut butter, orange juice for breakfast. Watched cable TV and very importantly, played with James on his vast collection of toys.

Tricia had porridge (cooked by the domestic helper, aunty Thelma) whereas me, papa and mama walked out to a nearby restaurant to have noodles and rice for lunch. Along the way, I saw many interesting buses and tram cars.

After lunch, we walked towards central (like our CBD in Singapore) and papa went to HSBC to do some banking transactions. At 3.30pm, we took a tramcar (flat rate of HKD1 for me and twice the amount for papa) to Causeway Bay. It was an exciting ride on the very 'skinny' tramcar. It also moved pretty slowly as it could not overtake the tramcar in front, having to move on a fixed tram line. We sat on the upper deck and enjoyed the cool air (at about 20 degrees, like in an air con environment, though more chilly).

At Causeway Bay, we took some tea and snacks and papa brought me up to his office (beside Excelsior Hotel) very briefly. At about 5.30pm, we hailed a taxi and went home.

Aunty Annie and Uncle Richard gave us a welcome dinner at the house. We had home cooked Chinese and Western food, with my favourite corn soup.

While papa continued to talk with auntie Annie and uncle Richard, aunty Thelma brought James, Tricia and me to the playroom on the M floor. It was simply fantastic as we could run up and down the various obstacles (safely encased in cushion).

After the play session, we watched some TV and then went to bed - it was a long day.
