PAPA'S BIRTHDAY DINNER 26 AUG 2008

We celebrated papa's birthday at the Equinox Restaurant. It was on the 70th storey. When I went into the lift, my ears 'popped'.






The first dish was the appetiser which is the sashimi. I loved the sashimi because it was soft and chewy. I also ate the plant. It tasted of wasabi.


The next dish was the soup. In the middle of the soup, there was a yellow cream which tasted cheesy. The green colour is the spinach. At the bottom of the soup, there was a quail's egg. I liked the soup it tasted cheesy and creamy.


The shell of the lobster has been taken away. There is curry sauce on the plate. I also ate the curry leaf - it tasted crunchy and a little bit of mint.




The next dish was the duck and foie gras (French word). My papa told me that one piece of foie gras is very very expensive. I liked the taste of the foie gras. There is a chao tah taste. The duck was very nice when you dip in the sauce.


The dessert is banana split. The banana was in a special sauce which tasted like guava. The ice cream had three different flavour - one was vanilla yogurt, the other was chocolate and the last one strawberry.

Then came the most important dish. It was the cake. There were 4 strawberries on it and 4 blueberries and 3 mango slices and white chocolate. Then papa cut the cake.



The last dish was the coffee. The sugar was like cubes. I had a enjoyable time at the Equinox Restaurant.
