EUROPE TRIP!!!
London day 1
Oh my gosh! I am going to Europe! Our first city is London, then to Oostende in Belguim, then to Rennes in France, then to Paris, then Chamonix (French alps)and lastly to Rome and then to London again and after we head back to homeland! Looks tough.
We took SQ A380. Seats aren't that big difference than other aircrafts but just slighty bigger...14 hrs....... Yes! Yes! Yes! Reached our destination, London Heathrow aiport. The development of the airport is much worse than Singapore's. Over there, I tried to be British, by walking smartly and speaking like them.. Heeheeeee.
We stayed at Aunty Chi Hung's house. Once I got out of the airport, it was quite cold and very windy for the first time, but luckily, aunty Chi Hung kindly drove us back. Everything was swishing here and there(trees.). You know it was at night. Once I got into the car, ahh, I couldn't even hear a single squeak. I felt so uncomfortabe because we had to buckle seat belts and I was wrapped with a bulky coat. On the way, I can conclude that it is quite hard to drive there as there are many cones and roundabouts.
London day 2
Yeah finally! We could walk on the streets of London! My auntie's house was located at the train station, Turnham Green(TURN-am) I liked the station names of London like Ravencourt Park, South Kensington and King's Cross St Pancras. We went to the Westminster Abbey and Big Ben. We were so lucky as there was lots of sunlight which was really glorious. With sunlight, Big Ben looked really majestic.
In the afternoon, we took a train ride to Piccadilly Circus. It was very lively out there with big screens, theatres, shops and it was like the Times Square.
